I ve always loved dark music specially The Cure and all the bands I ve listed above...I also play b [email] and sing in a dark alternative rock band. Goth music just get me , talk to me like no other music ( though I listen to a lot of different music it’s not only goth but it’s my favorite ) .
I like the darkness of it, the beauty, the romantism...I m from Paris I grew up there so that is maybe why...I also love reading, I love dark litterature and novels and poems like Baudelaire, E.A Poe, Appolonaire, Rimbaud...I’m pretty quite and chill guy I love Philosophy but Im always up for a good laugh I don’t think that Goths are ( litterally sad and depressed ) it’s just a way of seeing life Goths are pretty funny and all the bands Im listening to are funny people who are just a bit smarter than the others they see Life in a different way..Like I do.

I guess I have quite a dark (some might say twisted) sense of humour, I like laughing at all the things I shouldn’t and I can also be quite dry and sarcastic.. Quite often people don’t realise I’m actually joking when I am and take what I’m saying seriously, which I often find amusing. So bear in mind if I’m saying something exceptionally harsh or evil I probably don’t mean it..
I love music, mainly alt. electronic stuff, also some rock and the odd song from the charts (but that’s off the record, and I literally mean the odd song)Goth and Indistrial. Some fave bands – Vitalic, This Morn' Omina, Depeche Mode, Placebo, Smashing Pumpkins, Ladytron, Nitzer Ebb, Soman, CombiChrist, VNV Nation, Motor, The Cure, Dive, Coil, The Prodigy, Front Line Assembly, Felix Da Housecat, Miss Kittin, The Hacker, Ellen Allien, Suicide Commando, Wumpscut, Skunk Anansi, Andriod Lust, XPQ-21, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Lab 4, Seabound, De/Vision, the list goes on and on and on... [F][I][L][M][S] - I also love watching films, going to the cinema and buying too many DVD’s. Some faves are as follows: Pans Labyrinth, Bicentennial Man, Battle Royale, Edward Scissor Hands (and pretty much anything Tim Burton has had anything to do with) 28 Days/Weeks Later, Audition, Amelie, Planet Of The Apes (Original version), American Beauty, Zoolander, Death Becomes Her, Donnie Darko, Old Boy, The Exorcist, Tattoo, and most Disney films :oP I’m sure there’s loads I’ve missed but I think that’s enough..

Why am i a goth? -shrugs- Because someone else labled me as that because of the way i dress, the people i hang out with and the music i listen to? I like to wear the clothes i wear, i enjoy doing my make-up in interesting ways, i like strange accesories and piercings. I like having brightly coloured hair. I like my music, it pleases me sexually, haha. Being a goth is just a part of who i am, like being gay is, but generally i 'd like to think i am just me, and the fact i am gay and a goth are just 2 factors of my personality as a whole.
